Singer Pink takes exercising very seriously, and is extremely proud of her well-muscled physique. She has been taking it easy in the gym since going on the road with her Funhouse tour earlier this year, but still claims to be in better shape than the comic book hero.

The 30-year-old pop star wrote on her Twitter account: “I’m not brave enough to do some gym classes. I go straight to work-outs for ‘lean’ bodies. I’ve got enough muscles to kill Popeye anyway!”

Pink is currently in Scandinavia, where she has been forced to endure freezing temperatures and snowfall. Yesterday, her attempts to warm up after a long day backfired when she melted the remote control to the electric fireplace in her hotel room. Stuck on the highest setting, the heater soon left the star sweating and begging for relief.

She wrote: “The fireplace is making me sleeeeeeeeeepppyy. And hot. But not in a good way. It’s actually really hot and i melted the remote that turns it off! Help! (sic).”
