It’s been a busy few months for multi-platinum pop superstar Pink.

Between giving birth to her daughter Willow Sage in June and putting her LA mansion on the market earlier this month, the 31 year old has barely paused for breath.

So it’s no wonder that she was ready to slow things down with a quiet family holiday.

A stint of sunbathing and all-round R&R seem to be agreeing with both the singer and her brood.

Willow’s father, Pink’s husband Carey Hart was obviously feeling very protective of his small charge, making several gestures at the nearby paparazzi as he passed.

His wife was more relaxed, chatting to a friend and lounging on the sunbeds, a handy bucket of ice by her side.

Pink seems enraptured with motherhood, tweeting only two weeks ago: ’such a purrrfect day, just me and my girl. we’re totally BFF’s already.’

Not forgetting her hubbie, she later added: ‘Carey Hart is my hero.’

The Funhouse singer told People Magazine after the birth: ‘You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically, but you can’t possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child.’

It must be deeply satisfying for the star to have such a peaceful family life at last.

Pink’s more troubled relationship with her parents was the subject of her 2002 single Family Portrait.

In the emotional track she sung about the fights she witnessed as a child, describing how she felt during her parents’ divorce when she was 11: ‘Can can we work it out, can we be a family, I promise I’ll be better, Daddy please don’t leave.

It’s good to see how different the star’s life is now.

Pink, Carey and Willow have just moved to a plush $11 million Malibu mansion boasting 6,800 square feet, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Her Spanish-style Los Angeles pad is on the market for $4 million.

Time to hit the carwash, baby!

Pink, hubby Carey Hart, and their baby girl Willow headed to Mexico for a little R&R, and they clearly forgot to wash their car. The 31-year-old new mom and her adorable 2-month-old baby were spotted getting into an SUV so filthy that someone left the singer a message to clean things up!

“Pink, wash your car,” an anonymous fan spelled out in the dust on the vehicle’s rearview window. “Ja ja!” (“Ja ja” is the Spanish way to spell “Ha ha.”)

Despite her dusty wheels, the “F**kin’ Perfect” songstress looked relaxed in a loose-fitting patterned skirt, flip-flops and hat.

You may not have heard the name Justin Derrico yet but all the stars have; he has supported some of the biggest names in the music industry, from The Pussycat Dolls, to Beyonce, to Tina Turner and is best known for touring as Pink‘s guitarist.

Derrico is taking some time out from his busy schedule to make a special trip Down Under to perform songs from his new album Boldly Going Nowhere.

NinetoFive spoke with Justin about his album, his involvement with hit new reality show The Voice and his admiration for our very own Tommy Emmanuel.

You’ve worked with everyone from the Pussycat Dolls to Tina Turner to Beyonce, and obviously Pink. Who has really stood out for you?
Well Tina for sure. That was a one time thing when I did the Grammys with her. My wife has been her head dancer for the last 12 years and it was so cool, I got to do the Grammys with Tina and Beyonce and my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time. Tina was everything you’d expect and hope her to be both personality and performance wise. It was a real treat.

When you play with different artists are you allowed to do your own thing?
I think Pink far more than anybody let’s me do that. She’s really cool when it comes to ideas. On the first tour I did, she was the one that came up with the idea of the flamenco music. I came up with my own interpretation of flamenco music and what I could do with it. She let’s me take a lot of solos and lets me be myself, which is so much fun. Another reason I love playing with her I get to be myself, as a musician and a person. I’ve worked for some artists who want you to play strictly what’s on the record. Some times it’s great but sometimes it doesn’t translate, but with her (Pink) the whole band gets to sort of play out and it becomes a cool musical experience.

Not only has she been spotted in those oversized black men’s sweatpants practically daily since giving birth in June, the “Raise Your Glass” singer and hubby Carey Hart brought their baby girl to Nobu Monday.

Little Willow Sage is just two months old, but she’s already visited the Los Angeles hot spot before, quickly making her one of the hippest kids in Hollywood. Then again, would you expect any less from the daughter of the tattooed couple?
