Pink and Baby Willow Sage Enjoy the Sands of Malibu

Nearby, Willow’s dad, Carey Hart, was sporting a T-shirt with a Pabst Blue Ribbon logo, which just happened to be his drink of choice this afternoon.

As the blissed-out new mom said last month, Willow Sage was named for “my favorite tree. I grew up near one. It’s the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it – no wind, no elements. [And] Sage is cleansing and sacred … it sounded great together. It doesn’t hurt that her last name is Hart – flexible, cleansed heart.”

You may not have heard the name Justin Derrico yet but all the stars have; he has supported some of the biggest names in the music industry, from The Pussycat Dolls, to Beyonce, to Tina Turner and is best known for touring as Pink‘s guitarist.

You’ve worked with everyone from the Pussycat Dolls to Tina Turner to Beyonce, and obviously Pink. Who has really stood out for you?
Well Tina for sure. That was a one time thing when I did the Grammys with her. My wife has been her head dancer for the last 12 years and it was so cool, I got to do the Grammys with Tina and Beyonce and my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time. Tina was everything you’d expect and hope her to be both personality and performance wise. It was a real treat.

When you play with different artists are you allowed to do your own thing?
I think Pink far more than anybody let’s me do that. She’s really cool when it comes to ideas. On the first tour I did, she was the one that came up with the idea of the flamenco music. I came up with my own interpretation of flamenco music and what I could do with it. She let’s me take a lot of solos and lets me be myself, which is so much fun. Another reason I love playing with her I get to be myself, as a musician and a person. I’ve worked for some artists who want you to play strictly what’s on the record. Some times it’s great but sometimes it doesn’t translate, but with her (Pink) the whole band gets to sort of play out and it becomes a cool musical experience.

She gave birth to her daughter Willow at the beginning of June.

But now, more than two months on, Pink looks to have lost the majority of her baby weight.

The 31-year-old singer looked slim and trim as she went shopping in Malibu yesterday.

Despite the warm Los Angeles temperatures, the singer wore a warm all- black outfit of black leather jacket, long baggy black trousers and a black beret.

A pair of black spiky heels completed the look.

But there was no sign yesterday of little Willow Sage, who was born in Los Angeles on June 2.

And she seems to have embraced motherhood, telling People magazine after the birth:

‘You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically, but you can’t possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child.’

Pink certainly appears to be taking motherhood in her stride.

The 31-year-old pop star looked relaxed and happy as she enjoyed a low-key Starbucks run with her husband Corey Hart.

The married couple even stole a lingering kiss as they picked up their iced coffee drinks.

The pair had their two month daughter Willow Sage safely tucked away in the back-seat of their four-wheel drive BMW

Pink went low-key and casual for the outing, by dressing her post-pregnancy figure in a pair of loose fitting jeans and baggy t-shirt with the words ‘Le Freak, C’est Chic’ emblazoned across the front.

The platinum blonde star accessorised the look with a some platform sandals, fedora hat and a pair of chandelier earrings.

Motocross rider Carey also wore loose-fitting clothes, slipping on a oversized black printed t-shirt and charcoal shorts.

Between giving birth to her daughter in June and putting her LA mansion on the market earlier this month, Pink has been one busy mother.

But recently she, Carey and Willow enjoyed a quiet family holiday in Mexico.

Pink and hubby Carey Hart took daughter Willow Sage on a stroll in West Hollywood before heading into the Pacific Design Center.  Pink, who’s been taking time off to be with her daughter – born in early June – tweeted on Tuesday, “hey tweethearts- sure do miss you guys. haven’t had anything interesting and non poo related to talk about. i’ll come up with something…”

Ain’t no thang, Pink.  You’re being a mom and that’s cool with us.

Pink was a woman on a mission as she dropped by the CVS store in Malibu on Wednesday (August 17).

After spending nearly an hour perusing their goods, the pop star-turned-mom departed the pharmacy with a handful of merchandise to take home.

Though her little one was resting back at home, Pink spoke of her “blissed out” love for her new tot shortly after her arrival. The chart-topping star previously gushed about being a mother for the first time.

“We are absolutely blissed out in love over here!” she wrote. “To our fans and friends all over the world, thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes through this time in our life! I finally found out what love really means.”

However, the singer has let her fans know the transition hasn’t always been easy. Pink took to her Twitter page after the birth, to detail the not-so-pleasant details of having a newborn.

“My life was once whiskey, tears, and cigarettes… now it’s snot, tears, and the color of poop. #bliss (sic),” she said.

Pink is making the most of her maternity leave.

After treating herself to a caffeinated drink from Starbucks, the pop star-turned-mom hit up the Pavilions Market in Malibu on Tuesday (August 16) to pick up some essential for her family.

Upon her arrival home, Pink took to Twitter to apologize to her fans for not keeping them up to date. She wrtes, “Hey tweethearts – sure do miss you guys. Haven’t had anything interesting and non poo related to talk about. I’ll come up with something…”

Pink, husband Carey Hart and their two-month-old daughter Willow have just moved to a plush $11 million Malibu mansion boasting 6,800 square feet, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Her Spanish-style Los Angeles pad is on the market for $4 million.
