The exclamation mark didn’t end up in her name by accident. What you get with Alecia Moore is bold, brash pop music with a definite spark and a lot of rebel yells. There’s been a lot of growing up since Get the Party Started showed she could holler with the best of them. But there are still moments on current album Funhouse , such as So What , when she shows she’s still able to cut loose and run for the hills. Live, she’s the real deal, putting on a show that gives real value for money. King’s Hall, Belfast, June 16; RDS, Dublin, June 19; Thomond Park, Limerick, June 20

With her tattooed, punky pop star image, she doesn’t come across as much of a romantic type.

But Pink revealed a softer side today as she swapped her usual biker boots and tough girl look for a ladylike cycle ride around Berlin with husband Carey Hart.

And the star’s bike of choice was in a girly shade of pink to match her name.

P!nk & Carey riding bikes in Berlin

The couple spent some civilised time together in the German city where the star is on the European leg of her Funhouse Summer Carnival tour.

Pink, wearing no makeup, a simple green vest top and rolled-up grey tracksuit bottoms, is clearly enjoying herself in the capital.

‘Berlin. Officially one of my favorite cities in the world.’ she wrote on Twitter. ‘Bicycle rides through the city. Good day.’

Maybe the 30-year-old star was working off the excesses from the night before.

She and Hart, a motorcross racer, were spotted letting their hair down watching her friend Butch Walker and his band The Black Widows play a gig at a city club.

Pink – real name Alecia Moore – and the heavily tattooed Hart seem to be very much back on track after getting back together last March.

They split up in 2008 after nearly two years of marriage.

Since their reconciliation,  Hart has been quoted as saying: ‘Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps back to move forward.’

Night out: Pink and her husband rock out at a Berlin club where she watched a friend's band.

Eminem And Pink’s ‘Won’t Back Down’ Adds To Hip-Hop’s List Of Craziest Collaborations

Late on Thursday (June 3), the latest leaked track from Eminem’s eagerly-anticipated sixth album Recovery hit the Internet. “Won’t Back Down” is a powerful burner that features some shout-along verses from Slim Shady that bounce and dart all over a bottom-heavy, bluesy track built by DJ Khalil. Though some fans were skeptical of the fact that Pink was on the track, her rugged-but-pretty pipes add a great twist to the chorus. Past Emimem albums haven’t contained a ton of guest spots, so each and every tag-team Shady chooses is gone over with a fine tooth comb. But “Won’t Back Down” ranks up there with some of Eminem’s best songs, which means the team-up with Pink should be considered a gigantic success.

On paper, Eminem and Pink don’t seem like they would work very well together. Though Pink has brushed up against the hip-hop world in the past (most notably on the hip-hop centric cover of “Lady Marmalade,” which featured a verse by Lil Kim), but this is her first real high-profile hook on a rap song. She acquitted herself well, and “Won’t Back Down” can now be included on the list of the most successful left-field rap collaborations of all time.

Eminem and Pink’s duet, ‘Won’t Back Down’, hits the Web

One of the more intriguing entries on the recently announced track list for Eminem’s Recovery (due June 22) was “Won’t Back Down,” featuring Pink. What mayhem could two personalities as strong as theirs unleash on a track together? Rap Radar debuted “Won’t Back Down” today, so now we have our answer.

The tone of “Won’t Back Down” is about as different as can be from the zen calm of previous Recovery single “Not Afraid.” Eminem sounds angry as all hell, spewing multisyllabic venom over squalling guitars and drums courtesy of rising producer DJ Khalil. His verbal agility is as impressive as ever, but content-wise this is nothing we haven’t heard from Em before. One clever moment comes a few minutes in, when the track’s volume suddenly drops out mid-rant. “Turn me back up!” Em retorts, still right on beat, and the track complies. “Are you insane? Trying to talk over me in the car? Shut the f— up while my s—’s playing!” How meta. As for Pink, she discharges her hook-howling duties competently, though frankly I expected something a little less anonymous-sounding from her.

What do you think of “Won’t Back Down”? Does this make you more or less excited for Recovery?

THE SUN:

PinkPINK was cursing her booze ban as she kicked off her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour in Germany.

I caught up with her backstage in Cologne on Saturday night, and she told me how nervous she was about performing some terrifying, pant ruining acrobatic stunts.

On top form … Pink live

She said: “I’m not allowed to drink on tour. I wish I did as I’m so nervous about tonight. I’ve only practised it once!”

Pity, the last time she was in Germany she got stuck in and drank four one-litre steins.

“I’m no puker,” she said. “I just lie in bed and my head spins around.”

Flying high … Pink performs stunt

Pink’s ability to handle her stomach came in handy at the RheinEnergieStadion when she exploded on to the stage out of a cannon and suspended by balloons.

Both TAKE THAT and BRITNEY SPEARS have had circus themes – but Pink performs ALL the risky moves herself.

Her show is so dangerous she’s been insured for £680,000 for when she headlines the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park in July.

Pink scored a lot of points with 52,000 Cologne fans as she went through death-defying manoeuvres.

At one point she pulled herself up two red curtains and spun around in the air, continuing to sing upside down.

Her medley featuring My Generation by THE WHO, GREEN DAY’s Basket Case and Roxanne by THE POLICE – performed inside an inflatable ball – was another highlight.

Pink’s big encore was floating Peter Pan-style above the crowd.

Expect more stunts when her tour arrives in the UK on June 11.

Wowsers.

She is one brave lady.

I think her insurers might want to up her value.

DAILY STAR:

ROCK chick Pink was in need of some Dutch courage as her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour kicked off.

Pop’s wildest chick pulled out all the stops, with death- defying acrobatics.

And before stepping out on stage in Cologne, she told me: “I want a drink but I can’t before a show and then do acrobatics.

“I’m scared as I’ve only rehearsed one day. I was terrified going through my insurance details.”

Unbelievably, the toned and talented singer claimed to be “chubby” and giggled: “I don’t work out before the tour starts. I start off chubby and get skinny by the end of it.

Sitting in her dressing room, Pink was clearly nervous about her first Carnival show, which is a new and improved version of her 2009 Funhouse tour.

She continued: “You’ve got to make it bigger and bolder and brasher or what’s the point?

“Sometimes I regret not keeping it simple, though.”

The singer has fond memories of her previous visit to Germany and revealed: “Last time I was here I had four pints of local lager and my husband had five and puked

“I’m not a puker – I can hang upside down, after all. I just spin out, go to sleep and forget about it the next day.”

Pink, 30 – married to motocross racer Carey Hart, 34 – has promised more sensational stunts for her headline slot at London’s Wireless Festival on July 2.

She promised: “Wireless is going to be amazing. We’ll mix things up so it’s different. I can’t wait. Watch out, London.”

Bring it on lady – I will be down at the front moshing.

Pink kicks off the UK leg of her tour in Sunderland on June 11.

Rapper Eminem has revealed Pink and Rihanna were the only female singers who could ”pull off” certain tracks on his new album.

Eminem felt Pink and Rihanna were the perfect addition to his new album.

The ‘Just Lose It’ rapper – who famously collaborated with Dido in the 2000 hit ‘Stan’ – reveals the female singers were the only people who could “pull off” his tracks.

He said: “When I did the song that I did with Pink I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record. I felt like she would smash this record, so I gave her a call and she was with it, so we did it.

“The other that I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt only she could pull it off.”

The hip-hop star – who has parodied the likes of Madonna, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey throughout his career – explained his new album ‘Recovery’ will make sense once fans hear it.

He told Skyrock FM: “Both of the records, I guess you just got to hear them to know what they are.”

Eminem went on to praise relative newcomer to the hip-hop world Lil Wayne, who he collaborated with on the ‘Drop the World’ track and Drake’s ‘Forever’ single.

He said: “I’ve always respected what Wayne does. Wayne to me is one of the greatest in the game right now.”
