Pink gives video appeal message on Children In Need (UK)

BBC Children in Need is an annual British charity appeal organised by the BBC. Since 1980 it has raised over £500 million. The highlight of the Children in Need appeal is an annual telethon, held in November.
The money contributed to Children in Need is distributed to organisations supporting children in the UK aged 18 and under who have mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, sex abuse or neglect.

The 30-year-old singer Pink has likened her spouse Carey Hart to Scrooge, the miserly character in novel A Christmas Carol who hates the festive period and anything else which makes others happy. However, Pink refuses to be brought down by Carey’s attitude, revealing she can’t wait for the winter holiday to begin.
She wrote on Twitter: “I am so in love with my funhouse family and my hubby. I am so excited for christmas even tho my hubby is SCROOGE (sic).” Despite his hatred of Christmas, Pink managed to convince her husband to watch Jim Carrey’s new movie version of the classic tale with her over the weekend.
She wrote: “As much trash as Carey talks, he’s pretty excited that we’re seeing a christmas carol!!!! He can hardly sit still (sic)!”
Pink is currently in Oslo, Norway, on her Funhouse world tour. She is due to play a show later today but arrived in the city early to take in some of its culture.
She explained: “The artwork at the bar here in oslo is…. Interesting. So is the drunk guy next to us holding his balls. Pool balls (sic).”
Pink feels like a “slug” when her husband visits her on tour.
The pop star gets a serious “case of the snuggles” when Carey Hart joins her on the road, and doesn’t work out for days. The motocross star flew to meet his wife in Sweden on the weekend, leaving her feeling bloated and “lazy”.
The 30-year-old singer posted on her Twitter account: “Finally worked out today!! No longer feel like a slug. I get lazy + lovey when the boy’s in town. Carey gives me a case of the snuggles :) (sic).”
After playing a sold-out concert in Stockholm, Pink travelled to Helsinki, Finland, where she was thrilled to discover it was snowing.
She wrote: “Snowballs!!!!!!! Helsinki!!!!!!! Its snowing! I’m so happy. We’re such dorks we just got out of car 2 take pix of snowballs! (sic)”
Before long, the singer was using the icy roads to perform some dangerous road manoeuvres for a thrill.
“Now we’re gonna go burn doughnuts in the parking lot. Our driver is rad!” she wrote.
Pink almost urinated in a sauna because she thought it was a toilet.
The pop star is in Sweden as part of her Funhouse world tour and is having trouble adjusting to the layout of her hotel room. After a relaxing evening in front of the television, she wandered into the bathroom, only to discover she couldn’t find the toilet.
She posted on her Twitter account: “I just went to pee pee and my bathroom’s so big I almost peed in the sauna!”
It’s not the first time the singer has been confused since she arrived in Stockholm. One comment from a man in the hotel gym left her baffled, as she tried to figure out whether he was complimenting her athletic skill, or her butt.
She wrote: “A very nice Swedish man in the gym (working out behind me) said I have really nice ‘form’. Not sure if that means I run well?”
Singer Pink takes exercising very seriously, and is extremely proud of her well-muscled physique. She has been taking it easy in the gym since going on the road with her Funhouse tour earlier this year, but still claims to be in better shape than the comic book hero.

Stuck on the highest setting, the heater soon left the star sweating and begging for relief.
She wrote: “The fireplace is making me sleeeeeeeeeepppyy. And hot. But not in a good way. It’s actually really hot and i melted the remote that turns it off! Help! (sic).”
