MTV News spent hours interviewing artists and stars on the Grammy red carpet. After everyone was inside Los Angeles’ Staples Center, some of the news team made their way backstage while the rest made their way to their seats. Here are some observations that anyone watching from their couch would never have seen:

Pretty Please, More Pink: Inside Staples Center, they play highlights from past shows during commercial breaks. Pink’s performance of “Glitter in the Air” captivated the audience so much that when they cut back to the show, the entire crowd groaned.

Pink must need a lot of coffee to keep up with her daughter Willow Hart.   The pair were spotted out in Malibu this weekend, doing something that is by now very familiar to us celebrity watchers:  shopping and grabbing a cup of joe.

I’m all for comfortable mommy fashion, but I’m not so sure about Pink’s camo pants and sandals combo.  Willow always looks super-cute though!
