Singer Pink and other celebrities are furious with a Cinco de Mayo publicity stunt at the well-known Pink Taco restaurant in Century City, California.

The eatery chained a live donkey, fully painted in pink, outside in 90-degree heat for hours to encourage patrons to party at the establishment.

The donkey had the words “Pink Taco” painted on its shaved body.

Minutes after the donkey’s photo went viral, celebrities lashed out against the restaurant and took their anger to Twitter.

“Never go to @PinkTacoLA. Pic of the painted donkey chained to wall,” Singer Pink re-tweeted Thursday.

Stephanie Pratt, former star of The Hills, tweeted two messages: “What the f**k is wrong w people. We should paint them pink + chain them 2 a wall for hours + hit them when they don’t ‘perform.’”

“Wow u couldn’t just get a pinata?? @PinkTacoLA. Sick, evil, cruel people. I will never eat at one of ur restaurants again,” Pratt tweeted.

Fellow MTV star Lo Bosworth responded to Pratt’s tweet saying: “@PinkTaco that is so wrong, it makes me hurt inside.”

Radar has learned that PETA officials are looking into the incident.

Pink Taco was founded by Hard Rock heir Harry Morton, who has dated Lindsay Lohan and been linked to Jennifer Aniston.

With their first child on the way Pink and Carey Hart still have some work to do – but the motorcross racer says he isn’t concerned.

His wife “is going to be awesome,” Hart told PEOPLE at an autograph signing Friday at Hart and Huntington inside Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Hotel. “She’s just so connected and so ready to be a mother.”

She’s also been staying active and doing yoga while pregnant. “She’s solid,” he said.

As for their parenting style, Hart says he and Pink will be hands-on.

“Our kid is going to have a great experience,” Hart said. “He or she is going to travel the world with us … [and] I think we’ll have a pretty well-rounded kid.”

The only potential drawback? They may be a little overprotective.

“I feel sorry if we have a girl because that whole analogy of the dad on the couch with the shotgun, well, I’m pretty heavily tattooed,” said Hart. “I’m pretty intimidating looking so I feel sorry for a little girl trying to bring boys home. Between my very headstrong wife and myself, I feel sorry if we have a girl.”

LADY Gaga’s manager has revealed the singer is planning a lengthy tour of Australia.

Troy Carter said Lady Gaga was inspired by Pink’s three month visit Down Under two years ago.

“We’re going to stay there for a while when we come,” Carter told The Music Network.

“We were over there when Pink was playing and it was a great lesson for us to learn. When you invest in a country like (Pink did), a country will invest in you. It wasn’t about Pink going over there and piling everyone into a few stadiums for a few nights. She went over there and lived there and became part of the culture.”

Australia was the first country to give Lady Gaga a No.1 single with Just Dance in 2008.

While her next tour isn’t expected until 2012, Lady Gaga will visit Australia in July to promote new album Born This Way - which is released at the end of this month.

Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, which started in 2009, finishes in Mexico this week.

Eleven will screen a show recorded at Madison Square Gardens in February on TV on Sunday night.

She’s just splashed out $11.8million on a new home as she prepares for the birth of her first child.

So with money being no object for pop star P!nk, why not treat her unborn child to not one, but two buggies?

The So What star was snapped out with husband Carey Hart as they went shopping for pushchairs for their baby, who is due any day now.

And clearly undecided about which one to get, the couple picked two strollers for their little one as they shopped in Venice, California yesterday.

And as motorbike racer Carey, 35, walked on ahead to the car, Pink, 31, lingered behind, using the new buggie as a carrier for the rest of her shopping.

The couple, who have been married since January 2006, recently bought a beachside mansion in Malibu for their expanding family.

Pink is not having the best of days as the pop singer drops her keys, breaks a strap on her sandal, and forgets where she parked her car – all while getting groceries! The pregnant star, looking comfy in a plaid shirt and fedora, was still all smiles as she finally made it back to her car, pushing a cart full of goodies.
